Beautiful finish. We marsh rats are taking over! I am amused to see all this discussion of the house in the BG; to be honest, I barely noticed it, and to the degree that I did it adds a since of place & space to the shot. Congrats on top-10!

I am glad to see this one as a top ten, it was one of my favorites in the challange. I am sure the houses in the back ground held it down some what but I think the shaded house makes the photo feel more like morning.

It is not often that boat images with houses as backdrops score high, but this image is presented with great subtlety and lovely focal points.

Great shot, but I cant help but wonder if it you cropped out the house. Certainly, the top of the masts would would be gone...I dont know, wonderful shot.

The house in the background(not that you could do anything about that) drops this one a couple points for me. It is a wonderful image however.

Nice but the foreground boat and background house are fighting for my attention. Would have been a great picture if you could have moved to the right to eliminate the house or used a larger aperture to blur it out.

Great shot. Reminds me of a morning on the Chesapeake. Even though you do not see the sun you can still tell it is early from the low light on the boat which creates the reflection in the water. I love it.

Beautiful. unfortunate that you can see the house in the background, but I guess the owner would have been upset if you bulldozed it for the photo and in basic editing you can't get rid of it.

love the way the light catches the first boat but seems to bypass the other. very nice.
