I really like the shot, one of my favorite from the challenge. Love how you created the abstract look with the top persective, working with the circlular shapes as such. I like the two plates below overlapping eachother just a bit, but not sure about the clipped cup handle. And with everything being in focus, only the flower isn't, I guess that can work either way with this being an abstract. If it was in focus it might have taken away too much focus from the other objects, tough call.

this is tough to light - I think you've done a great job there. Maybe softening those harsh highlights would have been helpful.
My biggest suggestion is do something more with the crossaint (how do you spell that?). I'd like to see the curve of the breakfast roll more closely match the curve of the plate - with no bite having been removed.
To me it would feel more commercial that way - but even with the bite removed I think you could place it more as a curve to accent the nice round lines in the rest of your composition.
AH, that's it - everything is nice and round except for the giant angle in the corner - there - give me three paragraphs and I'll figure it out. I'm leaving the whole ramble though so you can have a giant comment on your photo! ;-P
This is very nice work overall though - you should be proud to have this in your portfolio. 7 |

Technically well done; some good use of colour and composition. But not my favourite picture. |

I actually wish the croissant had not had a bite taken out of it. Good composition and colors. |

6: Good idea. The flower seems out of place. The juice lacks a bit of colour and someone got to the pastry before you! |
