Love both images and the arrangement, but will also join the bandwagon on the border. Pick a dark brown from one of the images maybe. :) |

I think just black (or white) for matting might work better, as it is, the border commands too much attention (IMO). Good job of putting them together though. |

I like how youve composed this diptych. i agree the border is too bright so it distracts but i think it it were a darker/more subdued golden orange it wouldnt take away from the images. hth. |

I love the colors in the brushes but I don't like the orange boarder. It pulls my eyes away from the main subjects. |
