Drawback: Long exposures and bubbles don't work well - bubbles are a dynamic entity. If you look you can see the bubbles aren't quite sharp, nor is the candle.

Maybe I need a brighter candle :)

Beautiful photo. I love the rich, warm colors and the tiny hint of cool blue in the reflection of the bubble.

Creative concept, you're right about bubbles and long exposures - they move fast (bubbles).

I like it a lot... is that a reflection of the candle in the glass? Very creative!

this is cool. You are a much more patient man than I. And I see you are also quite capable of making your own reality. :)

What drawback? The picture is excellent and original with wonderful colours and a perfect composition. Well done...

It looks like a necklace of glittering red jewels. Surreal. Dunno what you were aiming for but the picture works for me. I'd be tempted, however, to crop out the bluish bubble reflection at the top, even though it defines the bubble, because the resulting abstract is downright spooky-cool. Btw, I seem to remember reading that mixing some karo corn syrup with bubble solution will make bubbles last longer.

On the contrary, you need to find slower, more lethargic bubbles. :)

Very compelling composition and subjects to work with here. Seems like one of those things that takes much experimentation.

Awesome shot I love the composition and the reflection of the candle. The sparkle from the candle almost gives it a Christmas Eve feeling. Im ready to snuggle up in my favorite blanket and light the cinnimon scented candles now. :)
