another shot of beau.

he had just lept off a pole on the end of a pier and i had the camera down below the pier. i was actually trying to shoot for the silhouette challenge, but couldn't get a shot i liked enough that would work under basic editing.

post: added slight gradient layer, cloned out a pole in the background, flattened, switched to lab mode and adjusted levels in the lightness channel, then switched to grayscale mode. lastly, i flipped the image ;-)

Looks like he's really high up in the sky. The white bit could very well be the sun. I see he's got no feathers left.
