Nice, shadowy image. You might try experimenting with darker tones here, to add more mood and drama. Nice composition with the main body of the spider off center.

I like the concept, but your image is to posterized and pixelated to be effective. It lacks the needed contrast between lights and darks. It doesn't look like photograph at all. Why the coloured border? It doesn't fit with the image.

I don't care for the border with this shot, also there seems to be some distortion in the background....maybe oversaturation?
