I STILL HAVE A PLASTIC SNAP BAG FULL OF VERY TINY SHORT PENCILS AS I WENT THROUGH ABOUT 50 OF THEM TO GET THE SHAVINGS I NEEDED BUT I DID KEEP THE SHAVINGS FOR A LONG TIME... FROM SHEZ

Impressive. I love it when ordinary things become "Art" with an appealing shape or an unusual placement. Nice idea.

The only thing I'd maybe change is the little hook at the end, it messes with the flow a bit.

I like the placement of the "swirl", and the light. I also like the focus, how it has a really quite large area where it's clear, yet fades out so nicely to the back.

So simple, yet so effective....
I really like this one so much, and a great start, re a macro, for this "30 day Macro" collection.....
Great composition, and I "LOVE" the DOF here, as it is just perfect.

Very cool. I really like the VERY sharp edges of the shaving. The contrast between the blue and the white really add punch to this shot.
