Critique Club Review:
Technical: Focus and depth of field are excellent. Color, saturation and hue are very good, with the exception of the skin tones. Skin tones are a bit blue. Is he suffocating?
Reaction: After reading your comments, it is a wonder he could breathe. Then again, looking at the skin tones, perhaps he wasn't. ;-)
I really like what you've done here, but at the same time, the camera angle and lighting makes him look a bit flat. Had he turned his head a bit, there would have been much more depth to the picture. Which I feel would have helped some.
As is, very creative, and I really like the colors and energy of the piece. Nice job!

Excellent pic. You've really started moving out of the box with this one... I like the colors, including the background. The brightness may be distracting to some, but I feel that it is a strong element that is appropriate given the context.
The only nitpick that I have is that there is strange coloring in the fingers... Like someone was playing with blue paint or something... |

| i tought this was yours, shez. i love the bright colours on the face, and the fact that you can see the forms of his face beneath the wrapping. i think it might be improved with a darker tone on the background - it's a very strong, pure blue, and is quite distracting. |

| as a painter, the ribbons across the face remind me of the amazing variety of colors that are contained in human skin, and for caucasians, this variety is almost surreal... as you can see in the fingers here. 8 |
