I took this picture out on our farm... when i took the photo i wasn't thinking of using it for this challenge i was just thinking hmm that'd make a good background for my computer... once i got home i realized that it was my favorite out of the pics i took for this challenge... hehe funny how that works huh? |

Good subject. Composition seems to lack a little in organization. |

interesting :) I like the composition here... I think a little more light on the white door knob would bring out some of the detail in that lock... good work :) - jmsetzler |

the angle makes me dizzy for some reason. nice catch the two doorknobs like that with the peeling paint. good focus, too. i wish the rusty doorknob was somehow more the focus of the photo than the new one ... but still a good photo. -- gr8photos (6) |

Great and unusual choice of subject. There's not much light in your picture and that has meant that we've got almost no detail on the mechanism behind the white doorknob. But the paint on these doors looks great. |

the angle adds interest to this photo, piqued by the flaking paint at various stages. The contrast of ages in the photo is neat. |

They are old alright. It looks to me as though you are underexposed. I would have liked to see more of the lock in the foreground. The board on the right robs from the nice verticle look of the old doors. If you can try it without the board I think you will like it. In my opinion any way. Autool |

I guess enamel instead of paint is the way to go. |

i'm sure it's a very old doorknob, but the composition is a little weird - I don't understand why are there 2 doorknobs on the same door? |

You are another person that knows how to compose a shot and tell a story. I need to take some lessons from you. :-) |
