Here is another image of my pet budgie doing the splits. One foot on the top of the Blue Wren and the other on the timber stump. He is perched between my two carved wooden blue wrens.

sheeeeeeeeesh .. wot a funny look .. he looks like he's really 'talking' or communicating with that wooden bird ... which is very budgie like .. ours used to talk to all manner of inanimate objects .. brilliant capture shez ... :)
ha .. i just wrote that bit and then scrolled down to post it and noticed i'd already commented on this excellent photograph .. oh well .. seeing i've made 5,071 comments i can be excused for forgetting .. altho i've gotta say, i did have an inkling .. !! ..
since that last comment i made nearly a year ago we still havent got a budgie .. funny tho that i was talking to greg this morning & said it would be nice to get a budgie .. :)

hi shez ... thankyou for your lovely comments on my latest editions .. i was going to send you a pm but thought instead of visiting your portfolio again, and came into your 30 day pet collection ...
I LOVE BUDGIES !!!
our little bird died just last year .. he was such a character and a source of great joy for us .. he used to copy my laugh, which made us laugh more ... and he used to share our dinner ... NEVER GIVE HIM AVOCADO or CHOCOLATE ... it can kill budgies ... i used to offer our bird avocado till i found out, fortunately he never ate it!! ..
we are thinking of getting another budgie!!!

Birds are normally so hard to catch holding still! You did a great job getting clear shots of them

Wonderful pose for the budgie. When I was a kid, I had two budgies, Napoleon and Josephine. After Napoleon fell off the perch, Josie went to my great aunts up in Sydney.

OMG, this is even better than the last one. The colors, background and crop are all perfect! Another humorous, yet beautiful shot. Keep it coming, Shez!

nice mix of reality and fantasy. they really look like they're interacting. I like the composition, too, with the wren's tail parallel to the frame.
