Was limited to shoot this in about 30 minutes the night of the challenge deadline. Had no flash yet for new camera so had to use a Craftsman workshop halogen lamp which was tough due ot the really intense light it put out. Tried to use the pop up flash on the camera to enhance the light on the can, but as you can see the image is dark.

Also tried playing with post processing software for the first time and ended up over sharpening the image. Those skills will come with more use of the product.

Had hoped for a 5.0 but that appears to have been far fetched.

Managed to pull of the blurred bottles in the background pretty well. Very happy with that as the product being sold is Coke and not the other products.

Love the concept, just needed better execution.

Wow, 11 - 1's. Most have hit some people on a really bad week. Image Definitely wasn't that bad (IMO) and at it followed the challenge guidelines unlike many of the other entries.

I'd say the 3's to 6's seem justified. The 10's must have been pity votes or miskeys ;) lol.

Definitely room for improvement.

I would have perhaps used a black dropcloth to emphasize the items and not such a close crop, My eyes want to see more of the bottles. Great Idea! 7

Good lighting and nice setup, but seems a little out of focus, which distracts.

I really like this idea. The rum and whiskey a bit out of focus in the background is genious. Lighting needs to be rethought and the focus needs to be way sharper. (I like this enough to ask for a reshoot rather than just discard it!)

I like how the bottles of bacardi and whiskey have just the right amount of blur - they're clearly in the background, but you can make out what they are. The can isn't really in focus, though. And it looks like you overdid the post-processing on the whiskey in the glass a little. It looks too unnatural to me.
