 The top of a glass of Izze Pomegranite soda, served over ice at a Seattle bar. I thought it might look pretty in macro with a bit of backlighting, so this is what I got. I figure it's reasonably high-contrast, too... or at least high saturation... so I'm having to decide which contest to submit it into. Going for the one with fewer entries. :-)

(I was inspired to take it by the presence of both of those challenges, and wish I could submit a shot to both -- I've got a different shot (of the same basic subject) that I'd use for High Contrast.)

Slight contrast boost with Aperture's levels, and _very_ slight saturation boost as well. And moderately cropped (and rotated) for (hopefully) best subset of the image.

And yes, it was tasty, after I took the pictures of it. :-)

Very cool abstract approach, well executed. Stands out. Wouldn't immediately recognize it as a beverage if weren't identified but that's good, the unconventional view is the source the appeal.

interesting idea for a macro. frozen? Not so sure I love the overall composition and wonder how you went about choosing it. I find the bottom half of your image very soothing to look at, while the top is a brawl of bubbles...perhaps this contrast was your intent

This abstract would work nicely for an ad. It allows total freedom for text placement and draws the veiwer in. I could work this in to a very effective ad.
