The motion is great and the chosen lighting really brings it out very well. I like the way the model is low down in the frame with lots of negative space above, to show the distance fallen, but I am not sure the shape of the image overall works well for me.
In terms of content this is very powerful for me as I have vertigo. Once upon a time I was commuting home from work and the escalators at Tottenham Court Road tube station were closed. The spiral staircase there is particularly deep and I just froze half way down, with that strong feeling that I was about to fall. I was stuck there for several minutes until a sympathetic man stopped and asked if he could help me down by walking very slowly infront of me. Uugh.

You captured the motion perfectly, but this isn't effective, imho, using a wooden model. There's no emotional connection.

good concept, nice motion blurr. you met the challenge in an interesting way. I can still see remnants of a hand or something behind it - the black is not completely black. Also it is cropped in such a way, that the image is not balanced - meaning you need more on the left and bottom. There is tiny bit of colour noise present - did you considered running this as b&w...

falling...one of the worst kind of nightmares. you did a good job with this. I had given it a 6 but after taking another look I think you did a fine job. Good contrast and great body position with the doll. The blur really adds nice movement to it as well. good luck 8

That can be a nightmare for most and good motion capture but I think I would have liked this shot better with a different background or if you could have captured it from above, which would probably be very hard to do.

The 'man' works well with a black bckgrnd. You did well with the long exposure, to give sense of falling. Nice work!

Aaaaaaaaaaaagh! (I'm sure that's what this little guy would be saying). Nice motion blur and effective composition.

Interesting, and nice application of motion blur. However, I don't think the framing has helped here. IMO, to give an impression of falling you need a lot more negative space, and a portrait oriented frame as opposed to a square one. The square frame makes it look like he's just falling to the bottom of a box. 6

To be honest, I think the wooden doll thing is a bit overdone, and the noise in this is just a little too much to ignore as well. Sorry. (5)

Wow. After giving you an 8th place finish in the 'Life' challenge, you go and drop him like a lead weight!!! (If you aren't Setzler, then forgive me, I mis-assumed). As far as the photo is concerned, I like the way you captured the theme and the motion. Great job.

This is good. And one of my most frightening nightmares. I love the stop-action.
