 NYC Street that sort of reverses the contrast between night and day. The buildings are dark but the sky is still light.

I have to say I just love this shot! I am so surprised to see it only ranked 114/280. I for sure thought it to be of much better quality. It is a very intriguing and appealing photo. I still would rate it a 10!

I really like this photo! Such a wonderful portayal of 'city life'. Good capture of the lighting and height of the buildings. The clouds in the sky add a certain interest to this photo. Good job! A 10

Overall feeling it is too dark, but I see the problem with trying to keep the sky from blowing out. I like the slight tilt to the image -- that and the darkness make me think I'm looking at the villains in Gotham in a Batman movie.

good job with leading lines. I would have cropped out the woman's face in the lower corner as it is just sort of floating in space.

This shot originally scored very low with me and upon second appraisal I will be raising my score but only by a few points. The angle of the shot really throws me and it if was a bit more level I probably would have liked it much better. The focus is too soft , more sharpness would have really worked on this for me. The sense of the challenge was met without a doubt, really conveys that sense of urban.
