I think this image should have scored higher. It's such a lovely moment that perfectly meets the challenge. Love the DOF and the softness and the contrasting dark and light. Very nicely done. |

the top is a little blown out which makes the face a little dark, but the focus on the flower is excellent, and i love the composition and idea!! nice job! |

I love the contrast in this photo. The innocence portrayed is beautiful. There is some of the face, but I don't think it's enough to make it a DNMC. |

In my Top 3, but I'm not sure it has enough pizazz for the rest of the crowd. I love its simplicity, and for me it catches raw emotion, with the execution of a pro. GL, I hope it does well. |

Perfect example of the beauty and pleasure young children can find in the most everyday elements of the world around us... Love the backlighting on the flower. In this particular case I think a deeper depth of field would work better allowing both the dandelion head and the mouth to be in sharp focus though I still like it a lot as it is. |

Just the right crop, like the actin and the duotones. One of my favorites this challenge |

another emotive capture. to me, these are the essence of the challenge. it's not about hiding a face, it seeing the subjects emotions without the face being a necessity. 8 (only for the blown out whites in the top right of the frame) |

I think this one is my favorite! I love the softness and how it takes me back to memories of being a child. It's very peaceful. I can almost feel the breeze in the air and the sun shining. |

Adorable. Would like to see the face in the same DOF as the flower, but nice bokah. |

I would like this one even more if the shot had been before 75% of the seeds were blown away. Maybe in the first 25% of them. |

Very sweet, I like this a lot; and there is just enough of the face left out to make it a successful "faceless" entry. |
