nice picture! not sure if this is a high contrast

has some tendency to a highkey than a highcontrast but...it's a nice nude, I like it. It would be better for the next one if you can tell the model to have a more "relaxed" look. The look in this one doesn't meet with the title because it shows me some sadness or shame, I'm not sure...as if the model is unsure if she's willing to pose or not and it's a pitty because it's a beautiful lady.

Very well done and very tasteful. I would have relaxed the forehead more to make it a pergect shot, otherwise the stare is adoring. 8.

Hard going to see this as high contrast from here - look at the gentle and subtle variations of the skin tones, few of which go anywhere near even dark grey. And your solid black border just emphasises the available distance in tonality. It seems to me that you had the raw material there whicha simple push of the levels would have put into the challenge dimension - in a way that would have been pretty successful. I've no idea whether it's a good portrait - I don't understand such things - but I don't think you'd have been far off.

I would have liked this picture better if her head was turned another way, such as looking forward or away from the camera. The way it's turned in the picture looks a little awkward and you can't see her neck.

nice, but a bit soft

Nice picture, good lighting (not sure about the pose though) - but it does not meet the challenge. This is High Key and not High Contrast...

the shot is good but I think that is an hikey shot instead of an high contrast shot. 6

This is an appealing image- the border is definitely the darkest black in the photo - which makes it seem low contrast since it doesn't go all the way to dark black.

Hi-key yes, high contrast no, which is a shame.

Agree on the title, but I don't see any High Contrast in here.

I'm no fan of tatoos but this shot is pretty good. Eyes stand out well against the light. Smoothness of skin is another plus. I'm not sure if I like the leg. It seems "out of place" in this photo because it is much darker than the rest of the shot b/c of the lighting.

Overall, a well done shot for this challenge.

this is high key image. I don't see how this works for high contrast.

A nice shot, but doesn't seem to be high contrast to me. If anything, it has less contrast than the normal shot.

I would not call this a HIGH contrast image...it is actually a LOW contrast image with all of the grey tones...it's a nice image, but not for this challenge

Very nice. It may have benifited from less light from behind (no punn) or maybe the same light just facing the backgroud to wash it out w/o washing out the subject. Still an 8 though. Nice work.

If anything this is high key, not high contrast. Good luck.

This is lovely. Love the lighting and softness but honestly, to me this isn't high contrast. High contrast is mostly highlights and shadows. This is mostly highlights and mid tones. A gorgeous image though.
