Greetings from the CC

This is a very cute image. It is well done, and that is reflected in its score. The lighting is excellent, the expression is adorable, the exposure dead on, and the desaturation of everything but blue is very tasteful.

What this photograph suffers from is a very static composition. The straight posture lined up in the center of the frame is a little boring. As a suggestion, try a crop in which his back is touching (even slightly cut off) by the left edge of the frame, so it almost looks like he is leaning agianst the side of the photo. This would both eliminate the slight gray furls on the left side, and also create a composition that draws the viewers eyes to the upper left (rule of thirds-esque) and provides both a nice negative space on the right and an interesting light/dark diagonal line

Nice Work,

Mark

Cute! Not sure what the jaggies under the leg are, though... Artifact of the background from your levels treatment?

I like the image, I am uneasy about the background, id like to just see it all white, I think that would make this a 9-10. As is, 6

the curtain shadow above his toe should go - kind of looks like a smudge, hand in front of his face is troublesome too. Takes a lot of patience to shoot these little guys, that's why I shoot big guys! Nice work.

quite a cutie...I would have probably chopped off a bit of the left side, but that's hardly anything to be overly critical about.

The colour works pretty well here. Also it's nice to see an image where the soft-focus cliche hasn't been overplayed.

The background is a bit visible in a negative way.
