Another shot of the Brenke fish ladder in Old Town, Lansing, MI. This structure is designed to allow fish a way to get around the dam. I think it is a really cool bit of architecture and have shot it a couple of times before. Always seems like there are new points of view, or angles to find around it.
I've also been on this kick lately, as in my 'Seek and ye shall find' series of shots, to find and bring out life, colors etc. that are hidden in unseeming subjects, thus the editing that I have done to this photo. It probably is not to most folks taste, but if I find a couple of people that dig it, than I am happy :-)
In ps- levels, curves, selective color, hue/sat on all the ind. channels, soft light and overlay layer with opacity dropped, curves, resized, ni, smart sharpen, border, sfw.
Thanks for checking out my pic :-) |

I like the curves, and the softness of the water adds a lot of interest. Post-processing is well done. |

Not enough in the composition to really see anything or make sense of it. |

Impressive slow water shot. I think I'd have cropped off the very top of the image, to remove the dark patch on the upper wall. |
