I agree, VERY much in style of Ansel Adams. BEAUTIFUL shot. Love the clarity and smoothness. I aspire to do such someday...GREAT job!!! |

Way to GO MARK!!!!! What an honor to be honorable mention in a challenge with such amazing photos! I thought this one might ribbon, but chalking up another honorable mention in such a short time is certainly something to be proud of!

Very nice tones and contrast and great scene. This seems very heavy on the noise reduction though--there's no texture whatsoever to the sand and even the clouds have lost detail. I think the textures would be helpful here! |

Wow. I love the way the lighting of the lower hills leads me directly to the snowy summits. The billowy clouds give this photo a sense of balanced softness and motion in any otherwise stark setting. 9. |

nice capture. I think it might have worked better with the mountain not exactly in the center. Might have meant a long walk though! |
