The Sentimental Journey, is a B-17 bomber that rolled off the Douglas assembly line in late 1944, and was accepted by the Army Air Corp on March 13, 1945. It continues to fly and tour the US, thanks to the Arizona Wing at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona.
The pinup on the nose is Betty Grable. More info at the link above.
This photo was shot at the airport in Akron, Colorado in the early AM on a cloudy day. I used a Gradient mask to give a feeling of an older photo merging into a new, color photo to represent past to future.

I like the shift in colors, it adds something, and really goes well with the title. Perfect composition for this, good angle, clean background. And she's a beauty herself! 10

Nice touch with the sepia fading forward into color. You could consider cloning the tree to the left.

I like how you processed the whole picture to look 40s. 7

Interesting idea on your processing, not sure it works for me, think the Sepia toned image on its own would work better.

love the plane (I'm a sucker for them) ..tones interesting but I think this would be better with an overall duotone/tritone and not the sepia on 1/2 with the blue on the other half.. just my humble opinion 6

the diagonal gradient on the sepia is quite odd...

I like the gradient to de-saturate the color, but I think I would like it better if it were a little more subtle. Nice shot though.

a 6 for the photo. better if the prop was not lost in the scenery behind the plane.

Very dramatic and excellent post processing...
Wish you had cloned away the tree on the left though (and maybe straightened the horizon)
