 I liked the texture of the shell and the surrounding rocks and stuff so I shot it. Then I thought it sort of fits the challenge, so...

Nice macro, I can't tell immediately what it is. Contrast between subject and background really makes it stand out.

interesting lines but the texture in the foreground is distracting. good choice of subject, though
