The Spire of Dublin

I don't know what to make of the bus on the right. I didn't even pay much attention to it. I feel that it would have been better if I waited for it to pass, but also feel that the bus adds an extra element to the part of Dublin City that's in the shot.

This was the only 10 I gave in this challenge (I ony voted 20%, though). Very underrated.

That piece of architecture is surely symptomatic of board or committee decided art. Great photo, by the way.

Sometimes I don't understand the voters... Thought this would end up at least in the top 10. What a great shot!!

I only voted 200 shots, but this was my only 10. Should have been much higher than the 100s. That spire looks surreal.

8 - Good. Not sure if it was possible, but 'if only' the lines on the street/road were symmetrical too may have made this even better, although not sure on that- could just be a 'different' image. Toning works well. Good character and elements here, including the sky/clouds.

The desat works well here. I love how the eyes are drawn skyward. The buildings make a nice frame for the foreground, but the bus is somewhat distracting.

What the hell...? This looks quite surreal. Where do you find subjects like this? The sky is quite amazing. The squares on the ground are leading towards the huge spike. Contrast and lighting are excellent. I would give an 11 on this, if possible!!

Good shot of this...whatever it is. A very interesting object, looks like something from a sci-fi movie.

Cool looking shot. Looks like it's from a sci fi movie of the 50's.

Not sure how I feel about the balanced feel of this image. I like it, but I wonder if I would like it more if it were off center and more dynamic feeling.

Like the black and white, the clouds almost look like paper, could composition.
