Nice contrast between shore and horizon!

Nice composition. Meets the challenge well. A little more contrast between the keel and beach would have helped.

Hm, a boat out of water can be a very troubling thing. Love the blend in the water where the sky meets the lake...or ocean?

Lucky that thing has two keels or it would have tipped over :-) Good idea, although I find the whole image a tad on the dark side. Good composition.

Looks more like an "oops" than irony.

I like the composition with the boat leaning out of the picture. Wish the subject was brighter, it is too much in the shadows.

I think the light in the sky distracts from the picture

A twin keel sailboat is designed to be used in areas with wide tidal fluctuations. This photo demonstrates intent more than irony. On a brighter side, that is a beautiful picture. There is a bit of detracting clutter on deck, but stil nice overall.

Great, love the reflections, good clouds.

Hey, at least the anchor won't let it go anywhere. I am a little conflicted. Part of me likes the composition the way it is, and the other part wants to see the rest of the mast.

been in that situation but the yacht tipped over! Pity the top of the mast wasn't in to finish the pic off. Like the red buoy for contrast.
