Its a so-so shot in my opinion. Severe lack of ideas for this one.

I like the composition and framing, with the possible exception of the building in the lower right corner. It is just a touch too dark for me on the underside of the bird though, and detail is lost as a result. That said, I know how tough it is to get proper exposure on something against a bright sky like that!

Nice motion shot! Seagull is pretty solid, but it seems slightly out of focus. Too bad about the building in the lower right corner, it distracts a bit. I like the wing position, but it shadows the body more than I'd like. Seems just a bit grainy, too. 7 Rob the Swash

There is a lot of noice in the sky and the focus is soft. I like the position of the bird but would like to see it placed a little more to the left.

As a birdwatcher I can confirm your identification. This is definitely NOT an eagle.

The capture of the seagull is good but the shot is let down by a number of things. It seems to be quite grainy and not overly sharp, it looks like perhaps it is a small part of the original picture. IT is a bit too dark also, the body and head of the gull are almost hidden in the shadows. Finally, the corner of the building or whatever it is in the bottom right corner is also distracting. If you would like to discuss this shot in more detail after the challenge let me know.
I have given you a 5 because I like the composition of the pic (withthe exceptrion of the roof in the corner) and I think that the shot shows potential.
Good Luck, Todd. 5

This is a little too tightly cropped and the wall in the background is distracting. The position of the gull in flight that you've captured is good tho, pity the photo wasn't a little bigger.

He's in a pretty unique pattern. Only thing I'd say is the building is a bit distracting. Good catch.

Image seems a bit small, also the object in the bottom right is a little distracting, nice capture of the bird.

Would like more lighting in the bird to give more interest. The brightness of the background helps to make the bird pop out of the shot. The building helps with the composition and gives it some depth of field. Larger shot would be nice.
