Challenge: Rain II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Kodak DX7590
Location: Denver, Colorado
Date: Sep 21, 2006
Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 140
Shutter: 1/25
Galleries: Landscape, Nature
Date Uploaded: Sep 24, 2006

crop, rotate, levels, hue/sat, NI, SUSM.

Shot from the car the other morning on my way to work. I took several shots, it was a bit tough to shoot handheld and keep it focused on the droplets. Of the bunch, this was the best one... we'll see how it goes over. I think it would look much better at a larger size than 640.

IMO (which counts for absolutely zero around here), your photo had more rain in it than many and also enjoyed a better artistic composition than a lot of the entries.

This is a gorgeous abstract. I really love it.

Seems like just another shot taken from a moving car, there are a few in this challenge. Not really jumping out at me.

The color is nice but I don't think there is enough interest in what is within the frame to garner a high vote.

Drops are not sharp enough...

Blurred landcape behind wet glass #8 or #9... Not really much to look at in this kind of shot. If it was shot closer (a macro of the drops) then it might be good... as is, not really, sorry.

This could almost be called "abstract rain" - works well
