I like the shapes & subtle colors. Try cropping tighter. Too much foreground. |

This imaghe has some really good light values and elements. There's a lot in this picture, much of it in conflict. Collectively they actually deduct from parts of it that are really powerful. The rain has stopped. The "freedom" is presumably the bird (which is out of focus). The sculpture is stunning but the background jetty and buildings take away its shape. The people , the flagstones and their relationship to the iron sculpture are really strong but become lost in the rest iof it. I'd love to see this as a study from an angle that loses the background dtructures |

Very interesting shot! The rays filtering through the clouds are quite nice and I'd like to see a bit more focus on that aspect along with the bird and part of the boat skeleton. But great image, I like it! 8o) |

Your title hints most strongly at that bird being your point of interest, but it's quite a long way down the list of the things one forst sees when looking at this image - after the skeleton of that boat, the people, the buildings in the background. The light is quite enjoyable, but there seems really to be one band of complex overlapping things, and then the quiet light of the rest of the image. |

All I can focus on in this is the bird. That is tainting my opinion on the image as a whole and makes me think its average. Trying to take the bird out I feel that the artwork is great but the angle chosen doesnt make the best use of it to lead my eye around the image |
