Less shadows in the eye would've been nice. Also.. I personally would've darkened the fur around the eye just to make the eye stick out. The picture isn't as clear as most. But really, its a great picture. Nice idea. Very colorful. I like it.

The detail in the eye is very fascinating, look for some balance or context to make this more aesthetically pleasing.

The blues in the eye are very nice. A bit more lighting in the top right quadrant of the eye would enhance this photo further. As it is right now, you end up with a comple black void for a section of the phot whcih then starts to pick up color on the outer edge.

Cropping is too tight and lighting too dark in my opinion.

If you're going to have such a radical close-up, you've got to make sure it's dead sharp in places.
