 Some lessons learned on this one. First, this is not what I originally set out to shoot. I wanted a full-length shot with a really cool pair of black and white heels. BUT, light is a bitchen master. To get the silhouette through the paper clean & clear I needed the bg light to be VERY close. After many tries, I realized the best place for the light was on a column right behind my waist. Thus the closer crop and you guys don¡¦t get to see my cool shoes. I love shoes. Anyway, next lesson: if the newspaper is even a centimeter away from the body, the silhouette becomes 80 times larger; no seriously. So I positioned my fan to blow the paper tight against my body. Well, got an okay silhouette that way, but not great. Did I mention I LOVE liquefy? Yeah, used that a bit to give my newspaper dress a bit of shape and there ya go.

Great picture, love the idea. It would work for the Paper II challenge :) I love the lighting and expression.

Nice.

Since this isn't being voted on, I would have ignored rule of thirds, turned the image to portrait orientation, and had you fill more of it.

But, I'll add it to my favorites anyway...

Something funky is going on between your shoulders and the shadow of your shoulders, it's just now aligned quite right. Not to nitpick though, 'cause it's one hell of a shot. Well done.

Holy moly! This is fantastic. Even if you couldn't show off the shoes, the crop and the white neg. space rocks. You look pretty snappy behind that newspaper!!!
