 you can tell by the colors of the sign it was made in the 1950's... not sure just how modern that is!

That's too funny! My biggest problem with this photo is the way that pine tree is distracting in the background, too bad it's there! I wish the frame were larger in this photo - you know, you're allowed 150kb, you should use it all! What I really like about this photo is the colors, the two colors on the sign are the same as the colors in the sky and the mountain in the back. Very cool photo, and meets the challenge very well, as so many in this challenge don't!

An interesting shot - clearly the condition of the sign and its words are out of whack. Is that the roof of the building, or some other background? It's puzzing and intriguing.

nice color and composition, I like the backdrop of the bare hills and the blue blue sky. Wish you had better resolution for a sharper more detailed image.

Not quite modern anymore. Good idea but the image doesn't jump out at me. Maybe a different composition could have helped.

Yeah, in the 1950's maybe, LOL! A bit out of focus and I wonder what the shot might look like at night
