I really light the golden light on the wings. A slightly lighter or brighter overall tone might show detail on the face and underside better.

This is a great shot. The golden of the sun shining on the wings makes this really attractive also. I usually don't like a border on sky shots, but it works here.

Nice capture of a gull in full flight. I like the way the sun is gleaming off the front wings and the gull is looking directly towards the sun.

I like the golden light on the wing, gives dimesnion to the bord and atmosphere to the picture.

The colors here are very nice and suddle. Makes for a peaceful looking shot. I really like the angle and composition!

beautiful wing light. i think for this kind of subject, people wanted to see it really close. not unlike the winning bug shots. i like the comp alot tho. 8.
