Proof that flight doesn't always have to be completely graceful.... I like the fact that the birds are fairly crisp, and the background's not; the tree would be a distraction if it were in sharp focus.

It does look like he is talking to the bird in front. Nice capture. 9.

Cropping to the rule of thirds I think would have helped? 7

Great contrast on the birds give a great layering look to the feathers. The blue hue in the sky really help to make the birds pop out of the picture. I like that the tree is really blurred. Kind of distracting, but it helps give a sense of height. I preferred it cropped out or getting a shot in which more of the treeline is shown to even out the composition.

Nice catch. I'd play around with levels a bit to see if you could lighten it. Shame they weren't flying towards you, but if you ask them, they don't seem to take any notice :-)

funny. Good perspective. The colors look dull and the tree doesn't add anything to the photo. But all in all, good job. 7

Beautiful capture. I bet you had to wait around and take a lot of pics before you got this beauty right? The blurred tree in the lower right brings in an additional color to balance the photo - 9.

spectacular capture...I think it would be even more striking if the tree tops were cropped out

What a combination crane and goose. Nice capture.

Neat capture of two different birds. They need a traffic controller!!!! Little dark but then the sky is also dark. ??Evening shot?? Anyway I don't dislike this, in fact it's really good. Congrats.

Could have done with a tighter crop. Great shot though, the foreground tree is very effective. 7
