| A very nice presentation. The hands look great and so does the avocato. Everything about this image is fine except that I would have maintained the real color of the pit. However, the image has great impact and its qualities are upheld by finishing in the top ten. Congratulations! |

| The impact of this image is achieved by modifying the textures and the colours in such a way, that they loose touch with reality. I don't see a photographer's work: only that of an illustrator. You are on the wrong path. |

| a very nice shot. fantastic detail in the hands and the avocado. I love the texture of the pit. however, this type of shot is fast becomming very cliche on DPC. I won't hold that against you though. 9 |

| What prompted you to turn hands to mono? They must have be more or less in line with the seed colour? It's a very good photo, but I feel the trick takes away from it, rather than enhances. |
