OK, this is it, and I am just so very proud of this image. Yes, it is similar to other images that have been in various challenges, but I have always admired them so much, and had to enter this one of my husbands hands, as I just love it.
This image is just how I have seen my hard working husband in the garden so many times, during our married life.
He is my strengh, my energy, and my soul mate.
This is a collection of various types of vegetable seeds, beans, peas, and corn, in my husbands hard working hands.
I firstly used shadow and highlights, sharpened, and then selective color, color balance, noise, little bit of spot cloning, and brighten contrast.
I am playing around with new processing, and nearly there, with this one but uploaded this, at the last minute, so should have done better.
Never mind, as I love it, as they are my husbands hands..... |

| This is a great idea, great pair of interesting hands, and the hand position you chose is very good. I think saturating the seeds resulted in lovely colored seeds but unfortunately it also resulted in a couple of unattractive artifacts such as an oddly colored shirt and skin. Advanced editing rules would have served you well here eh? |

| Very good image, but I am a bit thrown by the artefact-looking skin: is this some kind of weird filter and was applied on purpose or a consequence of inferior quality on shooting stage? |
