My daughter Samantha walking the tracks. Selective color: White, Yellow and Black. Adjusted brightness/contrast. Gaussian Blur. Save for web and add border.

Someone commented durring voting, that this image was somewhat disturbing. Just a note here, this is a short line railroad, and we are at the "End of the Line". They run no trains in this area on Sundays, so there was no danger. The trains in this area are very low speed, and you can hear them from miles away. Thanks for all of the nice comments

I think it would have been better if she was further down the track

The girl is a little out of focus.

tilting the shot definitely makes for an interesting composition, but it makes it difficult for me to empathize with her balancing act. Maybe if her arms were out a little more, if she were captured in a moment of daring instead of a moment of catching herself, it would all come together better. Regardless, composition counts for a LOT and you have a good photo here.

I think the composition and b and w are superb, but the focus is what lets this down...I wish she was sharp and if she was I would suspect it would ribbon...I am going to give you marks for the image, but feel you let yourself down with the focus 8
