Similar colors make the picture a little "flat" Good choice of old subject, though. |

I like the contrast of the "old" friend and the "newer" looking bedclothes. karmat |

Nice arrangement and subject. Perhaps could have used a tiny bit more light. |

bulls-eyed subject, should have been vertical, appears to be looking at something off to the left but we don't know what, not much contrast from the background. But definitely old! |

Try and get it looking at the camera. The lighting could be warmer. The red nose is the only area that contasts against the white, but it seems a bit lost. |

I like this shot. It speaks to me of my own childhood. |

Cute picture. and I like the old stuffed dolls that we hang on to. I'm being frank in my comments - not to offend. I think there are a few things that I would do to make this more effective. 1-different placement (not right in the middle) 2. a different angle 3-Lighting - the lighting , for me, is what is really throwing this off a little. The idea and subject are great. some of the photographic details need a little alterations. This is only my opinion. Still great work 6 Ruthann |

Nice subject matter but I would've liked to see the bunny (?) hanging out of an old box or something like that ... instead of posed for the shot. The surrounding of the object makes a big difference I think. |

Maybe the shot should be a bit more - dramatic, complex, exciting? |

Good exposure and focus for your well worn friend, which create a nice photo. Now for some nitpicks... You might note that the lighting is a little uneven, which diminishes the contrast with the white background. Also note that in general it is best not to compose your subject in the direct center of the frame. You will often achieve a more dynamic photo when the subject is about 1/3 to either side (rule of thirds). |

interesting doll. not enough contrast between it and the background. place it on a darker background. the doll is too centered for me. i think maybe a cool macro shot of the the head showing the texture and age of the doll would be a nice image. it seems a little soft. |

If the doll was off center or on an angle I think it would be better. |

I think this little feller would have still looked old if it had been given a little more light. This would have given you better exposure and added snap to the picture. In my opinion any way. Autool |

Very nice. I think my daughter wants one... Lighting is good, focus is good, subject is good. 7 |

Brightened up and shot to see more of the bed would have helped this a lot! |

This is a very neat 'old' doll :) I believe that this photo could have had a LOT more impact if it was shot on a background that offered some more contrast... a darker background... maybe a composition that didn't bullseye center the subject would have worked better too :) - jmsetzler |
