The blower thing was clearly the leading line for me. I guess some people see things and some other people see other things. No way was this shot worth a 1. Some people just go completely over the top with harsh voting. |

I like your entry. Can't explain why it didn't do so well. Perhaps the leading line wasn't leading enough ;) I guess people wanted to see a line leading to the central element which is your daughter (this is your daugher, isn't it?). When you look at the shot, what do you see at first? The eyes. I think you should see the line at first which leads to her face and her eyes. Thus a composition with the "blow thing" rolled out and directed straight into the viewers face may have scored better. But this are all assumptions. I don't really know.
I love your creativity. Keep it up! :) |

This made me smile. Great idea, well executed. Her eyes are looking great. |

Great but no cake! Perfect shoot and subject, but the leading line is not what comes first in mind watching the picture. |

Precious! I would like to score this higher, but don't see the leading lines. |

A very fun portrait, if I were to redo this shot, I would take that bracelet off. I am finding myself being drawn to that. |
