I pretty much just ended it with my boyfriend... a self portrait should show emotion right? and what better to do with pain then to make it art!

...time heals all. And using tears constructively is a major emotional plus. I'm impressed with your photo and your courage.

I'm sorry you're in pain. Love can really make you hurt, can't it. You've captured the feeling in a very real way.

Sorry :( Not an easy thing to do, even when it's the right thing to do. :(

I really like the crop as it focuses the attention on the tears and makes the shot even more emotional... *offers hugs*

Aww, sorry to hear about the breakup. Would it cheer you up to know that I had my last date when the *other* Bush was president? No. Probably not, huh. :-) By the way, even when they're sad, you still have the most gorgeous eyes. Sad, but powerful picture. Hang in there and when you need a lift, just revisit some of the sillier shots that get posted for this challenge. JP and Ken come to mind...

Aw... Sorry to hear about the heartbreak. I thank you for us all for exposing that raw nerve and emotion to us. You could have hidden it away, but you chose to share it. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about that, wish it could have gone better for ya. Love tends to do that until you find a person you can work with on love, instead of using you for it. Hang in there, he's out there somewheres.
