 Day 10 of 30 self portrait. My daughter HATES this shot. she said not to post it because everyone else will hate it too. ;( she also said i look dead so might be why she hates it so much. if it does really does suck please tell me. except for my starry night pic and the composite shot i tried this is only my third attempt at digital art so sorry if it sucks. I like it though.

Edit: since a couple of you mentioned names I guess it needs to be named. there ya go!

How old is your daughter? Teen? Well, anyway - maybe I should say I hate this so your daughter doesn't feel like she was completely wrong about the pic. ;-) Can't do it - this is a really cool image!

Possible titles: "Ascension", "Drawn Upward", "In God's Gentle Hands" - these just came to mind as I looked at it.

Be very proud of it! :)

I quite like the digital art aspect - very intriguing! Both you and Rebecca managed to get shots with complete detail in white outfits - very hard to do IMO. And you're body is just fine. Not a darn thing wrong with it at all!

Beautiful. You've created an "otherworldly" feeling here. To me it looks like you are being transported and very relaxed with that. I don't hate it, in fact, quite the opposite.

Well I love it. Ilike the angle and the idea. The background really works. Maybe you could try a gradient levels mask to make the underneath of you slightly darker to make it more realistic....(it also helps to blend edges).

it's very surreal. I like it a lot. I like the background too. It's dreammmmmmy..... The halo's are a neat effect too. Nice work, girl!

Very cool shot. I wanted to do a floating shot a may still try. I like the lens flare as well really adds to the composition.

I like the idea behind this. The focus on you is great. It looks like you're floating up into the sky. The lens flares really add to this feel.

Things I don't like:
The red background. I can't figure out if there is meaning with it or not or if it's just there as a background.
Your fingers are cut off on the bottom.

It is beautiful. Only thing is your finger got cut off. But still a great shot.
