| Very nice shot. The elements in this photo work very well together, and of course paying attention to the rule of thirds on THIS shot anyway was an excellent decision. |

Nice capture - full of action, vitality, character. Conveys freedom, summer holidays, fun.
Although we use "flight" quite loosely, hence this does fit, I think it's not an image people would look at and be able to guess the theme. That's not a bad thing, just a comment. |

| Hahaha, I have almost the same shot of my dog (same breed I think) when he was a puppy at the beach! Great one! Not only that, this IS an excellent picture... the lighting is perfect, and focus (action shot) is even better. 8. |

| Great action shot - A lot of power and movement, both in the dog and the wave. I like the off center composition, the crisp focus and the even lighting. I REALLY like his expectant face as he looks right at the camera. 7 |

| Adorable shot!! I love everything about this shot, the expression on the dogs face, the positioning of the dog, the background..The only minor that is the shadow on the lower bottom left but I'm sure that couldn't be helped. Hope to see this one at the top this week! |

| Wonderful composition, light, a great moment caught: especially like the wave breaking alongside the dog - adds some dynamic to the shot, and keeps the eye moving in a good way. expect you might get voted down a little on the 'this is jumping, rather than flying' pedants, but I do hope not. 9 from me. |

| Just darling, good action and good color. The focus is more on the water then the dog and he/she is the main subject. Maybe a tighter crop removing some of the right side would of focused more on the pup and included the full shadow. Over all this is good. Your right on topic for the challenge. |

| I hope you don't get slammed too much cuz it's a dog, and not typically flying animal. I love the way he is lunging towards us, his tongue out is great too, he looks tickled pink to be airborn for a bit anyway. I would of liked to have seen some more of his shadow. (not essential tho) excellent shot. |

What an exceptional photo! The facial expression of this guy says "I'm having a blast!!"
I love the ocean in the background and the footprints. He looks like a young dog, is he?
As an animal lover, you can't help but be captivated by this shot.

| This is a creative and amusing take on the challenge theme. You captured him at just the right moment with the ears looking like little wings, and what a great expression on his face, looking straight into the camera. Good job. |

| Such a dynamic shot. Great depth of field really makes the dog pop out of the picture. It would have been really nice to get more of the shadow to show the height of the dog jumping. Maybe a vertical crop would make the dog seem to jump higher. Dog seems a bit dark on left side. A tiny bit more light would give more details. Great picture. Would make for a good Summer postcard. |

| very fun. great focus, nice lighting, great timing. it would have been nice to see the entire shadow in the photo, and perhaps no other footprints in the sand, but overall its an excellent photo. |
