| The close-up is a great choice for showing all the detail. But much of the detail gets lost in the extreme differences between shaded and full sun areas. Look for opportunities that are more favorable, like full shade or full sun. |

focus. also, black and white would have been better here i think. there are not interesting colours per se, so you don;t lose there and you would perhaps bring out contrast more w=by making the shot black and white.
oh and cropping maybe. tighter. |
