Nice scene and a good job making it a nice photograph. Your processing is good IMO, not over or under done. Colors a great in the foreground and sky and the tree does pop out. Wish you well in the challenge. bump 10 |

There is an interesting surreal quality to this image. I think it's overdone, however. The technique seems to dominate the subject taking away from it rather than adding. |

change the blue sky to white? picture seems to have a "secret garden" feel due to lush deep greens and then the contrast of the stark tree trunk are good. overall I give you 6...gl in challenge :-) |

That's a nice lush bit of nature. The dead old tree makes it appear even lusher. Each element in this picture supports the others. |

Like: colors of sky and grees. really like your subject 'tree'
Don't like: the processing for final product. I can see haloing around the tree. I don't think the darkening corners is necessary.
6 - but I think it has great much greater potential |
