 This is the next entry in my Cassie project.
This is the same tree I used in "Angel Flew Too Close To The Ground" My daughter (carlee_h22) and I had to ask permission from the old lady who owns the land where this tree resides. She remembered me from last winter. "Oh your that crazy photographer who hung the wings in my tree"

Thanks to my model for trudging across the muddy field with me to take this shot.

Hard pressed to call the tree the main subject here when ther is a pretty girl in front of it at a thirds-point!

This is an exceptional photograph. The background sets the tone and mood. Excellent balance of color and texture. The girl completes it. Perfect 10.

This is a really cool shot, and I appreciate that you took the time not only to find a great location but to set up a subject as well. It looks great in black and white, and the details like the girl's white dress and black boots further work to enhance that choice. I also like the fact that her face is obscured; it adds a sense of mystery and also helps the tree remain a focal point. I think a little extra dodging and burning may help to add even more punch and definition to the image, but that is just personal choice. Overall, I think this is a strong image.

Nicely rendered in black and white. Your choice of depth of field is reveals the intricacies of nature especially in the reaped field. The white gown is so pure against the rustic setting. I also like the pose - but the girl's head is, to me, slightly in an odd position overlapping the tree. But overall, very nice. 8.

Love the use of a model here - adds more interest to the single tree theme. I also like the way you cant see her face (doesn't take away from the main subject). Nice exposure - the B&W adds drama to the scene. A little bit of dodging & burning done to the tree ? A lovely shot - best of luck.
