Challenge: School Days: Geometry (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel
Lens: Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Location: Home, Hull, UK
Date: Sep 7, 2006
Aperture: F/16
ISO: 200
Shutter: 10secs
Galleries: Abstract, Digital Art
Date Uploaded: Sep 7, 2006

I hung a small pencil torch from the ceiling and laid on the floor, directly underneath. Set to full manual- F/16-ISO200-10 sec shutter. Swung the torch and shot the photo. Tried around 60 shots, and this is the one I picked.

Post Processing:-
Hue/Sat:-
Red- -180,-100,-100
Yellow -180,-100,-100
Green -180,-100,-100
Cyan +29,+22,0
Blue +19,+54,0
Magen -180,-100,-100

This removed some red light in the middle ( reflection of the ceiling lamp which the torch was hung from ) and changed the white light from the 'white' to this shade of blue.

I really like this one, Keith. Creative and well executed. The change of hue from white to blue was a great idea.

Way to go Keith! 5.8 is great, but, I was one of your 6 10's, so naturally, I think this is way underrated :)

I love the purple color. Executed to perfection!

This is SO COOL!!!! I've always wanted to try a shot like this. You've inspired me to try, although I'm sure it wouldn't turn out this good. I love the blue! Blue light is my favorite! Good job with this one, I LOVE it! 10
