 Renata, one of our au pair's friends, asked me to take some portrait shots of her. Hey, no problem! All I needed was an excuse to sneak it into a challenge. ;-)

Shot in natural light by a window in my dining room on an overcast day. Processed from the RAW file in Photoshop: HSL, Levels, Shadow/Highlight, Channel Mixer for saturation, slight Curves, a little Noise Ninja.

She has a beautiful smile. Not sure I like the floor/background, but the colour and clarity are very good.

It's hard to capture pure genuine laughter and even harder when it's a posed photo. I think you're not quite managing but I quite like her hair and the red in her top.

One of the best pleasures in the world... Good idea, nice light and sharpness. Having a solid white (or some light colour) as a background would make this a winner.
