Critique Club Review:
Very nice photo!
Colors, brightness, saturation, hue, and contrast are all done very well.
I would have liked to have seen the frame go just a bit more to the right, to take in the fender behind the wheel well.
Focus is excellent, but a shallower depth of field to soften and obscure the fire plug and rocks at the upper left, would help. Either that or a different angle if you could get it. If this truck could have been moved, lighting from the front, rather than the grill in shadow, would have been nice.
You might have been hurt a little in the voting because some people do not see vehicles of any vintage as "simple". To them I say tough! This is a very good picture and worthy of finishing higher than it did. |
