 With this challenge I closed in on a fabulous sequined hat I bought in San Diego. It was only thirteen dollars...I was thrilled. I checked today...aha, made in Indonesia. I wonder what the working conditions are there? Dunno...never worked there. But I liked how the pastel sequins were brought out by the darker colors. That\'s my intent, anyway, to emphasize the pastel rather than the dark. I\'m moderately new to this DP world, and it\'s taking me a while to remember what I learned in high school photography class, and then to apply that to digital photography. I\'m learning a lot on this site, so many thanks! With this challenge I\'m more actively working with manual settings.

Post-challenge: Yep, too blurry. Should have sat this one out. But this way everyone got to see the sequins. It's a win-win, or something ;-)

I like the colors, but I feel the pic lacks a bit of focus. The cropping is intriguing. I also find the border to be distracting. Maybe you should've made it more pastel(y).

They are pastel colours but the photo doesn't seem to be in focus.
