I see there is some pastel here, particularly in the sky. When I voted I didn't see much pastel and gave you a 7 simply for creating such a wonderful photograph. It's just amazing how effectively the busy composition draws the eye to the bicyclist at the center.

I get to feel the pic is a bit too busy, lacking a specific subject. I also have a hard time seeing how it fits the challenge.

I think a different crop might bring out more of the pastels in this photo. Currently the dark shadows own your first impressions
