Intriguing. I wonder how it would have looked with the subject off-center and the rod in a vertical position. |

Interesting light and colour, but the comosition seems poorly weighted. I think rule of thirds could have been your ally here. I feel there's too much negative space at the top, and the subject is too horizontally centred. Interesting choice of subject though, great textures. 6 |

Good use of negative space, dof. Boarder is good too. Lighting is used very well. |

The shallow DOF really adds a sense of depth and character to this image. Beautiful |

i like the brown color and bark texture against tje smooth black. Wish the whole subject were in focus, maybe crop in to give more cohesion to the picture. |
