taken in Kananaskis Country Alberta... was the backdrop to my bedroom for a couple of nights last week... *sighs and smiles*

*Edit* .. k so L. Goodman told me my border was a bit pink.. I couldnt see it before but a friend came over and fixed the settings on my monitor.. EGAD the world is different now.. lol Love it

a beautiful, if conventional, landscape shot... it's actually odd in that given the mountainness environment, the moutains don't feel particularly awe inspiring. i think it lacks a sense of scale, and i'm not sure why. perhaps there is too much in the frame, or maybe it's the massive fluffy clouds that skerwers perspective?? dunno. 5.

We should all be so lucky to have this as one's bliss.
Is this soon to make it on a Post Card rack in a nearby town? If not, it should be.

Wow, what a landscape!! Could this be Colorado? You've done a super good job of retaining the clairity in everything while still showing the details in shadow and light areas. The reflections of the clouds on the river are breathtaking - the leading line of the river, leading the eye to the left third of the image is perfect.
