A different angle would have made this a better photo. It would have allowed the viewer to look deep into the dog's eye. Relection in the eye is distracting and blows out the main focus of the picture. |

I've heard that you should always focus on the eyes, and I think this would have worked a lot better with that rule in mind. The reflections and burnt out highlights on the eye don't help either, but there are some great textures. 6 |

Beautiful clarity/lighting. Good use of dof. What did you do to this poor dog to make him (her?) stay still long enough and not try to lick the camera? |

Good sharpness in front of the eye, but the reflection in the eyeball is too over powering. |

neat shot, but i think it would be better if focus was shifted back just a bit, to get the eye to be the point of best focus. the reflection in the eye would then be very striking. |
